I'm Mónica. I'm a very simple person. I like to be positive, and to help people to be positive, too, though I have to recognize that sometimes it isn't as easy as it seems or as I think it should be. I like to read. No, I love to read. Another thing I love is Taylor Swift's music. It's amazing how every single word of her songs can describe exactly what I'm feeling or what I'm going through. She say's she's a hopeless romantic, and so do I.
I also like to write. Sometimes I might feel a little lazy about it, but once I get started, there's no stopping me. The bad thing about it is that my mind is all messed up, and so are my writings, but that'll have to do.
I'm a very shy person, so it takes a while for me to really open up, but once I do, there's no turning back. If I like you, I will be staying for a long while.
I have big aspirations, that most of people think are impossible to accomplish, by the way, so I haven't told many people abouth them, just my parents and a few friends. I like to learn new things. My biggest existential problem is that I fill ignorant and insignificant. Like, there are so many important and smart people whom I admire, and I am nothing compared with them. I hope to someday be like them.
I'm not complicated. I like to keep things simple. If you hurt somebody and you know it, say you're sorry. If you love somebody, don't just say it, show it (even if you're afraid, have for sure that the other person will be glad to know). If you have a problem, solve it. Yeah, it's not easy, but it's possible and way better than drowning in the problem forever.
One thing that I'd always wanted to do and finally got the chance to today was like in the movies, when some is concerned about something, and then another person comes and tells the person in distress a quote from someone famous. Today, a friend was saying "I could have gotten an 98!", so I said, "'Coulda, woulda, shoulda. It's all easier in the past tense.' -Sarah Dessen". That was, like, the highlight of my day.
I don't pretend for anybody to read this, haha. It's very enternaining, though.
